My intermediate class complete with a poster of Amie Semple McPherson the founder of the Four Square Church Denomination in Los Angeles. Many of our students were from Four Square churches throughout Brazil.
Beginners class with Gail, Licia and Forrest teaching and about 23 students. Most could not speak one sentence of English when we began and by the end of the second week they could begin speaking English.
Our English teaching team that traveled to Curitiba, Brazil in Jan 2007. The team consisted of April, Licia, Forrest, Faye, Dayne, Lielle, Gail and myself.
The Recanto Ebinezer retreat center was located 56 km south of Curitiba Brazil in the mountains and in a farm setting. The mornings and evenings were cool and midday was hot. Shorts and sandels for sure in the afternoons. Front of main bld.

Beautiful country side. Much like Va mountains. May see farmers plowing with mules.
We had an outing at a local pool/water park. The Araucaria (Parana Pinetree) is very abundant in this state of Parana. They are everywhere.
